Conscious Consumerism

We’re first-world humans and it’s in our nature to consume. In a perfect world I would live in a teepee in the woods and wildcraft my food…maybe thats a long-term goal of mine, but for now I am deeply embedded into this modern society and I aspire to create.

So here I am, exercising my creative freedom and trying to make a positive impact along the way.

I am making moves away from plastic one step at a time:

  • Packaging products in glass and cardboard

  • Shipping with reused paper, recycled cardboard and compostable tape

  • Using every part of the plant, then putting the extra back into the compost!

  • Plastic-free packaging labels

  • Recyclable label backings

  • Organic cotton / recycled t-shirts

  • Growing and wild harvesting the plants

  • Offering interchangeable, plastic-free razors.

As environmentalism goes, there is always room for improvements, but I also want to celebrate each of the steps I have taken in hopes that encourages normalizing putting the earth first when considering purchasing products and goods.

The bottles make a perfect vase for you harvest season!

The life-span of each package is considered when I’m creating the products. The cardboard tubes are all compostable, and the glass jars and bottles can have many second uses! I know that there are some plastic tops - but those can also be re-used for your own potions or saved for portioning out travel sizes.

I strive to offer natural skin care products that encourage us to incorporate more of our wonderful natural world into everyday life. Thank you for supporting this mission and being a part of my larger vision!
